The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia is set to host the 'Sousdey Indonesia' Expo on September 13-14, 2024, at Phnom Penh's Diamond Island Exhibition (Koh Pich Exhibition) and Convention Centre. This event, aimed at fostering bilateral trade, cultural exchange, and educational opportunities for Cambodian students, marks the 15th edition of an annual expo that began in 2006.
Originally launched as the Indonesian Trade and Tourism Promotion (ITTP) expo, the event has been rebranded as 'Sousdey Indonesia' for 2024. This year's expo is anticipated to be the largest yet, featuring over 100 booths and expecting up to 6,000 attendees.

The tourism component of the expo will spotlight popular Indonesian destinations, including Bali and the Borobudur temple in Central Java.
Additionally, an education fair will showcase scholarship opportunities for study in Indonesia. Currently, approximately 200 Cambodian students are pursuing their education in Indonesia.
