
The Siem Reap Provincial Administration is honored to inform all citizens, domestic and international tourists, and the public that: The Siem Reap Administration, in collaboration with the Giant Puppet Project and the private sector, will organize a Giant Puppet (Ting Mong) Parade to showcase to the public and tourists the giant puppet works created by children, with the aim of promoting tourism, arts, cultural understanding, and environmental hygiene.
The Giant Puppet (Ting Mong) Parade will start from the road in front of Wat Damnak, proceeding along major roads including Achar Sva Road, Road 26, Achar Hem Chiev Road, Road 24, crossing National Road 6 (at Koh Kerti Roundabout), crossing the Royal Palace Stone Bridge, and ending at the garden north of the Royal Palace Stone Bridge. The parade will take place on February 22, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with the participation of approximately 450 students and children. After the parade, the Giant Puppets (Ting Mong) will be exhibited at the garden north of the Royal Palace Stone Bridge until February 25, 2025.
To ensure the smooth operation of the program, maintain security, public order, and avoid traffic congestion during this event, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration will temporarily divert traffic on the above-mentioned roads on February 22, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
